A. Leigh Duval, SHRM-SCP is a graduate of Virginia Tech and lives the Hokie motto “Ut Prosim” – That I May Serve. Leigh is also a graduate of The Coach Training Institute and holds numerous certifications in human behavior.
Her career spans 20 years with a focus on creating success for small emerging businesses by bringing out the best in the people. Leigh’s passion for giving back started while volunteering with the Virginia Tech Rescue Squad and has progressed to serving on nonprofit boards.
She resides in Virginia with a rotating crew of foster pets. In her spare time, she loves to garden, travel, and develop workshops that bring together women through personal development and wine.
Lisa Sederquist
HR Consultant
Lisa Sederquist is a passionate and results-oriented Human Resources Consultant with nearly 20 years of experience in various industries. She has a strong track record of success in building HR programs, acquiring talent, and fostering positive work environments. She has an undergraduate degree in Organizational Management from Daniel Webster College and a certificate in ASTD.
Lisa's career path wasn't initially planned. She was asked to coach and train employees, and her success led to the creation of an HR position for her. This sparked a passion for building and creating—evident throughout her career. She has extensive experience developing impactful programs for talent acquisition, onboarding, orientation, and on-the-job training.
Lisa's ultimate passion is helping people. She thrives on providing support and guidance to staff and management and believes in creating positive and effective work environments where everyone can thrive.
In her personal life, Lisa is an avid animal lover. She has three fur babies: two dogs and a cat named Poseidon. She has had many pets throughout her life and deeply cherishes the companionship they provide.
